North Carroll Dance is located in Manchester, Maryland, and was founded

over 40 years ago. For years, NC Dance, Inc has made dancing affordable

and accessible for many children and adults in Northern Carroll County.

Dancers NC Dance learn from professional, compassionate teachers who strive to make the art of dance challenging, yet attainable.

 

The main goal of NC Dance, Inc is to provide students with added confidence and professionalism that they can carry with them for future opportunities like job interviews, college admittance, and even auditions.  Our teachers provide a fun, safe learning environment for all students- we want everyone to leave our doors with a smile on their face!  We accept students from age 3 years through adult, and we offer classes in all types of genres including, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro/tumbling, musical theater, hip hop/jazz funk, conditioning, & pom dance.  Our studio is perfect for any parent searching for a beginner level activity for their young child- participation at NC Dance promotes instructional and listening skills from other qualified adults, along with patience, and healthy physical activity. We also provide recreational opportunities for dancers looking to participate in fun weekly movement, learning proper dance technique and skills at any age level.  

 

In addition, NC Dance, Inc offers instruction for serious dancers who wish to make dancing their main extracurricular activity.  We have many dancers who are training for high school, collegiate, or professional experiences. NC Dance appreciates and celebrates dancers of all abilities, shapes, sizes, colors, and ages, and is available for all gender identities. Our season runs for nearly 10 months- starting after Labor Day and concluding in mid-June with end of the year performances at nearby North Carroll Pantherplex (formerly North Carroll High School) in Hampstead, Marylandl. We are proud to share our love for dance, and we continue to promote the many positive outcomes of supporting the arts with so many young lives in our community.
